Of all the marketing experts in the field, if there is just one I could sit down with for an hour to pick his brain, it would be Gary Halbert. This is a man who has gone through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, but through it all Gary Halbert has emerged, relatively unscathed throughout his marketing career, which makes for a very entertaining, as well as inspiring story.
To give you a brief synopsis of his story, Gary Halbert made millions and millions of dollars using his expert copywriting and marketing skills. In the midst of his success, a project he put together with the intent in providing a valuable service to others, went awry to were he wasn't able to fulfill orders he received payment for.
He did some jail time, but came out refreshed and has a series of free newsletters you can obtain from his website. His writing , as well as his stories are remarkably inspiring.
So while he's only human, and made a mistake in the past like many of us do, he's also been able to teach a great deal of useful information that I highly recommend.
If you spend some time looking over his "Gary Halbert Letter" website, you'll no doubt come away learning a great deal of valuable techniques and strategies, just as I did.
