Morrow is an interesting guy. I don’t mean to come down on this guy
right away, but he was one of the top brass in Referralware who made a
ton of money. So what’s with Referralware? Do you know anyone who has
made any money with Referralware, because I don’t!
The nature of the company can be best be illustrated by a conference
call they organized in early 2006. You won’t believe this, but the
conference call was about a website that the company put up on the
internet called wescrewedup.com. Yeah, you read it right, as in “We
screwed up”. Talk about adding insult to injury. The company’s
convoluted thinking, I imagine, was that if they admitted to screwing
up, people would actually give them more money.
Matt Morrow was in on the conference call, and a lot of people found
out what he was about. Morrow and Referralware had a boiler-room
telemarketing division that called people up and tried to get them to
pony up $12,000 for one of his workshops. Matt may be a nice guy, but
that doesn’t mean he gets a good review. When dealing with Matt Morrow,
proceed with extreme caution because we do not recommend doing business
with him.
