Todd Falcone
Falcone
is an MLM motivational coach, who was affiliated with ProStep before it
went bust. He likes to teach people to manage their time by promoting
automatic lead generation methods. His most recent project is Coastal
Vacations, and he is a spokesman for prospecting and developing
leaders. He also has authored a book, “Fearless Networking”. Todd is
known to be focused and quite persistent, but my experience with him
was distinctly unpleasant.
Todd got my name and number from one of the opportunities I had
rejected after asking around. After I rejected the guy, he gave my info
to Falcone, who then proceeded to leave me multiple messages about
ProSTEP, which was a totally different type of program than what I had
inquired about. I was frustrated that my information was being peddled,
so I asked Falcone how he got it, to see if he would tell me the truth.
He didn’t give me the answer that I was looking for, telling me that we
could quibble about how he got my number, or we could talk about
whether I was serious about his opportunity. This disappointed me (he
gave me this standard MLM response with a rather haughty tone) because
I wasn’t expecting condescension. I guess he assumed I wasn’t
successful and needed him.
But guess what? ProSTEP went out of business quickly after that, so
maybe he was just trying to pressure me into making some money. Maybe
he was having a bad day. At any rate, the collapse of ProSTEP coupled
with the interesting timing of his call, in which he admitted to
ProStep’s bad reputation, left me with a bad feeling about this guy.
Thus, I would advise people to exercise some serious diligence before
giving any other their money to Todd Falcone.
